New No-Bake cookie Recipe'

Hi Gang, Yes, I have been out of the info loop for 2 weeks.  I was playing Santa's Helper.  I create Christmas and Holiday cards every year to sell.  I actually cleared $140.00 this year and that helps the Christmas budjet.  <3<3<3 I am going to make it up to you.  I have my favorite No-Bake Cookie Recipe' for you. Quick and easy and not to bad for you.
3 cups Chocolate chips  (I use dark chocolate due to the diabetes but semi-sweet, and milk works too)
4 1/2 cups Rice Krispies cereal (or your favorite rice cereal knock-off)
1/2 cup raisens
1/2 cup chopped nuts (your choice)
I mix the rice cereal, raisens, and nuts in my big bowl (steel works best but I also have used my dutch oven in a pinch)  I melt the chocolate chips in my microwave- about three minutes.  I melt it for 1 1/2 minute then stir and check to see how melted they are and then add 30 sec increments to make sure I don't burn my chips. I pour the melted chocolate all over my rice mixture, Stir until all chocolate covered then spoon drop them on a cookie sheet covered in wax paper.  Let them cool in the fridge or even outside in dry, cold weather and Voila et Toute de suite - ready to eat.  If you don't like raisens, try craisens, or dried cherries.  Now I made myself hungry for them I better go make a batch.  Bon Apetite
